  1. Looking forward to reading about your adventures. I know that butterfly feeling you have right now. No worries! You’re in for an incredible adventure that you’ll always cherish.

  2. Hi Uncle Jerry, Aunt Susan, Eryn and Ethan. That is an awesome itinerary you guys put together and a neat, yet simple website you guys made to keep all of us posted with your one-year long trip. We went to Thailand with our kids in May 2010 for a month and saw so much within only a month but unfortunately we didn’t get to visit Chiang Mai and a few other places because time was limited. These are some of the places we visited and suggest that you guys visit:
    -Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm
    – Koh Tao (aka turtle island. Koh means island). This island is beautiful especially Jansom Bay.
-Koh Samui (we passed by this island but didn’t get to explore it)
-Koh Phi Phi (where the movie “the beach” was filmed. We would like to visit here one day)
-Ancient Siam or Muang Boran (this place is like a huge outdoor museum in a big park that displays how the ancient city used to look like. It has villages, temples, stores, etc. You can rent bicycles and ride around the whole park. We enjoyed it very much. You will see what I mean if you guys go there. Your kids will like it)
    -Ayuttaya (a must see place)
    -Wat Arun
    -Wat Phra Kaew
-Floating market at Domnoen Saduak in Ratchburi or Amphawa floating market (we went to Amphawa but missed the floating market because we went too late; however, we did get to see fireflies for the first time).
    -Nakhon Pathom
    -Khao Wang Palace in Phetchaburi
-Khao Luang Cave in Phetchaburi (a holy cave with many Buddha statutes inside). There are lots of caves to see in Thailand if you like to explore caves.
-Paradise at the Mall in Bangkok (it’s got a water park inside)

These are some places that we think you guys would enjoy to visit. Thanks for sharing and have a fun and safe trip!

P.S. we will miss you guys for thanksgiving this year

    -Brandon, Katherine, Kayla and Paris
