We have taken up residence in Semur-en-Auxois, a medieval town of about 4,500 souls in the Burgundy region of France. The first several days were gloriously sunny, but it then rained for a couple of days. In this photograph, you can see our white house, just left of centre on the river Armançon. This is providing a good base for exploring the area, and a comfortable place to catch up on things left undone during our hectic days in Paris. Read Ethan’s and Eryn’s posts for more details.
Looks like you guys are having a great time. I think it is fantastic that you have had so many different experiences in such a short time. I am glad to hear that Susan has her arm out of the cast and is doing better. We think of you all often, and are anxiously looking forward to hearing your stories in person. Safe journeys.
