The sun is hot\u2026I am sweating. Bodies are pressing against me and stinking of sweat as I try to get through the line. I am almost to the front\u2026almost there\u2026<\/i><\/p>\n
I got there. Eventually, after only a little bit of time, my family and I got to the front of the line and bought our tickets for the Acropolis. For those of you who haven\u2019t, like me, studied archeology or anything like that, then you probably will not know that the Parthenon and the Acropolis are not the same thing, despite \u2018common knowledge.\u2019 The Acropolis is a wide field surrounding a plateau.<\/p>\n
On that plateau, there are a bunch of ruins, the most important one being the Acropolis. The Acropolis is in ruins, now, of course, and there is a crane sticking out of the middle on \u2018restoration.\u2019 I knew that Greeks were smart, but I didn\u2019t expect that.<\/p>\n
