For supper, we ate at Thami\u2019s again. We were enjoying the meal of couscous, tagine, and Moroccan salad (cucumber, tomato, parsley). After a hard day of shopping, we were beat.<\/p>\n
Dad only paid for two leather jackets and four table runners, but the bargaining process at the tannery was long. We\u2019d returned to the tannery with the \u201ccute\u201d man and were planning on buying a belt or slippers or something\u2014we were totally against buying a jacket.<\/p>\n
When we finally did pay for the jackets, Mom\u2019s red jacket\u2019s sleeves had been altered (which took twice as long as planned) so they weren\u2019t too long. Ethan\u2019s black biker jacket is still a little big on him, but he\u2019ll grow.<\/p>\n
At Thami\u2019s, we watched cats climb the tree and jump onto the canopy several times. Eventually, the subject turned to Ethan getting up early.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hear it every morning\u2014stomp, stomp, stomp,\u201d Dad said.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re lucky I don\u2019t wear my flip-flops,\u201d Ethan replied, \u201csince then you would hear slap, slap, slap.\u201d<\/p>\n
A man came to clear our dishes, since we were done, as I said, \u201cYeah, I\u2019ll slap you.\u201d I balled my hand up in a fist right as the man cleared my dishes.<\/p>\n
Mortified is an understatement.<\/b><\/p>\n
