We rode a train for about two hours this morning, talking to Elena and her husband, who live in Spokane, WA. Elena is from Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Mostly we talked about our trip, where we\u2019re going, how long it is, what we\u2019re doing for school, and all that stuff.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone was excited to see the start of the Inca Trail, which is four days long and really high and I\u2019m glad we\u2019re not doing it!<\/p>\n<p>In Aguas Calientes, we couldn\u2019t find the man with a sign with our names on it, so we just walked to our hotel after finding it on a map. It was raining, of course, which made it Aguas Frios instead of Aguas Calientes.<\/p>\n<p>After Dad had a lie-about, we walked around the town. Mom and I went into a jewelry shop, and when we exited, Ethan and Dad had disappeared down the Via de Escape alley. Eventually they came back and told us what they\u2019d found: a platform that could hold four people in case of an emergency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat would you have to worry about here?\u201d I asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTsunamis,\u201d Dad replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, it said something about \u2018<i>huevos<\/i>,\u2019\u201d Ethan added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHuevos?\u201d Mom asked. \u201cDo you know what that means?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUm, waves?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEggs, Ethan.
